The open Project at Mara Crags in Sicamous (bolted by Perry Cormier) has been climbed by Jacob Doyle in an On-Sight First Ascent:
Baldwyn's Outrigger 5.11b.
Needing an aggressive heel-toe cam for the crux while reaching high for the next hold makes the body feel like a crane, thus, "Outrigger". Check it out next time you are in Mara.
A new route appeared on the Lower Wall (far right) of Mara Crags graded 5.10d put up by Perry Courmier a left traversing arc route under a roof. No more info known currently.
A secondary note: a new project at Mara crags to the right of Baldwyn's Outrigger might be 5.12-
not fully cleaned yet and is not currently open for sending.
